So you are looking for that rustic western look and need to find some authentic rustic log bedroom furniture?
Quite often when new home owners are building their log home, or mountain lodge or it can simply be a traditional style home with high ceilings and spacious rooms, they are needing the right furniture to compliment the rooms.

There are a variety of rustic log furniture makers scattered throughout the US but in the western states and especially in Montana, you will find a lot of rustic log bedroom furniture made from the lodgepole pine that grows well here. It is known for it's durability and strength. (the native Americans used these pines for teepees many years ago, hence the name ‘lodgepole pine'!)
Some people prefer to keep it unfinished so as to keep the rustic look but it is best to put some sort of oil or stain on it as pine is a soft wood and oil stains from constant use will eventually leave smudges.
So maybe the answer for you is to find a nice rustic log bed, several log night stands or end tables, a solid pine dresser, perhaps a rustic pine armoire ( which you could use as an entertainment center as well), a rustic log or hickory rocker set in the corner(the Amish hickory rockers are the most comfortable rockers I have EVER sat in - and I have had one most of my life!:).
Oh, and grab a few handmade rugs - there again, I like the Amish handmade rugs for their durability and appearance.
